Regardless of your years coaching fastpitch softball, you are always looking for that next great thing to help improve your team. Fastpitch-Softball-Coaching.com is all about helping you achieve that goal with its primary focus on YOU, The Coach. We have built this site to address the needs of the recreation coach, the travel team coach and the high school coach. With this focus, players and parents will find a wealth of information.

If you are a new coach, you will be interested in the sections on Managing and Teaching the game, both found in the left hand navigation column. There you will learn how to:

There is also a section under Managing that focuses on fundraising, an important ingredient if you are running a travel team to help make it affordable for everyone to participate.

For the experienced coach, there are always areas of concern with your team. In the Teaching section, you will find drills for specific areas of the game. Be it pitching, hitting, throwing, or fielding, you will find a drill to help address that concern. We hope you will help us assist the newer coaches by sharing some of your favorite drills. At the bottom of each of the drill pages will be a space for you to submit some of your favorites. This "Help and Be Helped" concept, so prevalent in the game of fastpitch softball, will be manifested on Fastpitch-Softball-Coaching.com. So "Pay It Forward" and help your fellow coaches with how you've been successful.



If you are a player or a parent of a player, we have not forgotten you. In addition to the drills available on the site, hear what high school and college coaches expect from their players and what they look for, as we share interviews with coaches so you know firsthand how to prepare your daughters to play at the various levels. This can be found in the Competition section.

Fastpitch softball is an expensive game, considering the equipment required, from bats to gloves to uniforms, pop-ups and other team needs. The Equipment section is designed to provide a resource where you can get what you need, be it a new bat, a glove, pop-up nets, hitting tees, or whatever at an affordable price.
