Ex-Softball Coach

by Wendy Leslie
(Downingtown, PA)

Well, Dan, I started coaching in my local little league. I started because, of course, my daughters were playing little league and I wanted to get involved. I become the president of the little league softball division and loved every minute of it. My daughter was an awesome player, I am not just exaggerating (I always told her that all eyes were on her because her mom coached so her playing ability had better never be questioned, she had to prove why she was on the field), so I decided she should move her level of play up to travel softball. I loved coaching travel softball. We had many losses and many wins but we always enjoyed the game and the people. Softball is not worth it unless you continue to have FUN. Winning is great but learning is better. I miss coaching softball but have so many memories!

Fond Memories

Wendy,

Great to hear from you. It was great coaching with you, Bobby, and Greg. The girls played hard and had a lot of fun doing it. Miss the days with Christina on the mound mowing down the batters. Hope all is well!

Dan
