Fastpitch Batting Gloves

Fastpitch batting gloves can take the sting out of those early season games by keeping those hands warm. But did you know that they may also provide that little extra power that makes the difference between a line drive to short and a single over the short stops head. "Ridiculous" you say. "How can that happen?" you ask.

Let me tell you about my favorite brand and how it solves a weakness of the human hand. Where do you hold the bat? Well, your driving or top hand in your batting grip is your right hand if you are right handed and your left hand if you are left handed. These are the stronger arms for each batter. The bat sits on the fleshy part between your thumb and your forefinger. When you hit the ball, it tends to give and therefore does not deliver all of the power to the ball. Is there a way to solve this? Well TurboSlots, now owned by Easton, and the first one shown down in the matrix below, has figured it out. The have a reinforcing pad that extends between the thumb and forefinger. Now that weakness is mitigated. How do I know this is not a Marketing gimmick? The only proof I have is that my two daughters’ batting averages by more than 100 points with the only change being using those batting gloves.

Ok, so there is my recommendation. However, you should select the batting gloves (like the bat) that makes the player the most comfortable. The TurboSlots will take a little getting use to because she will not be used to having that pad between her thumb and forefinger.

Below you will find a range of fastpitch batting gloves. Find something you like and go for it. In any case, I would recommend getting your players batting gloves. It does help reinforce the proper grip as many have a proper hands (knuckle) alignment indicator reinforcing proper technique.
