Softball isn't a game it's a way of life. We play because we love the game, not for our parents, our siblings, or to impress people by how far you can hit the ball. You play because you love the rush that the game gives you... Bottom of the seventh bases loaded 2 outs and your tied. Thats what softball is about. If you love the game you'll do anything and everything to keep playing even if that means giving up EVERY weekend of your summer to play in 100 degree weather.. Its who YOU are and that should never change -- Anonymous
It's when parents totally back off.. You see the true dedication Or lack of... The athlete who gets her reps against a wall and Works out to stay fit..Softball is what they love and no one can Take that away.. They stay involved with the game even if there family can't afford expensive travelball....Its her passion Not her parents... They set good examples, and give back by Coaching or giving lessons..That is the matured softball player..
