Need Help

I live in Palos Heights. My daughter is 10. Recreation department ball has no challenge. I'm looking for a team who is looking for a good player. Please help.

Dear Dennis,

Thank you for your note. I did a little search and came up with these two sources. The first is Girls Softball site, which listed a few fastpitch teams you may want to look into. The other source is eteamz.com. I did a search and found about four pages of teams in Illinois.

If Illinois works like my area, most fastpitch teams set their roster for the following year in August and September, but teams, especially young ones (like 10U) are always looking for a few good players, so you should still be able to find a team.

Another option is to speak to the commissioner of your recreation league, because they usually know the good travel teams in your area.
