Thank you for your question. What I have generally seen is that there are usually two lines per batting order position. The person who kept our book would generally note when the person came in so that at bat data could be compiled later.


Official scorebooks usually allow space for 11 players and one sub per player. Again, the key is to note when the sub is in for statistic tracking.

If anyone else uses any special technique, please chime in.
