Softball Helmet

The softball helmet is an important piece of safety equipment. It has also been used part of the uniform to show your unique team name and brand. Make sure the helmet has the NOCSAE stamp on the back of the helmet. In recent years, airbrushed helmets have become increasingly popular because of the unique look they can provide. In the past few years, the people that govern softball started requiring players to wear safety masks affixed to the helmet. This was in response to some horrible stories of players getting hit in the face by pitched or foul tipped balls. Again, this was a smart move. Just make sure that they mask used on the helmet does not obstruct the view of the hitters.
