12u-14u fastpitch pitcher

Is there a rule any where in fastpitch softball about the ump being able to ejected the pitcher if he or she thinks the pitcher is showing any kind of expression about his calls on balls and strikes?

Umpire Discretion
by: Dan

Hi Dena,

The umpire has total discretion over the game. She/he will usually give the pitcher, coach, any other player or fan a warning first but can always have that person removed from the game or area of play. A particularly sensitive area is questioning balls and strikes. This will get a person in trouble quicker than most any other transgression.

Good luck with your season,

Dan
