My daughter who has been pitching for 5 years now is pretty good. What I'm trying to find is a good outline/plan for working out to build her core strength, leg strength, etc.

Is there such a thing out there?

Core Workout

Sorry for the delay in responding. Let me say that there are a number of good core workout programs out there. As a matter of fact, many of the sports facilities run core programs that encompass running, heavy ball training, and other such drills and are generally individual or group setting arrangements with the trainers.

That being said, you might want to look at this page that was supplied by such a trainer.

Whatever you do, it is generally drills that focus on the strengthening of stomach and leg muscles and fitness overall.

I found my daughter had her best softball season after having core training with her soccer team over the winter. Such fitness is a basic need for all sports.
