Just starting

I have a daughter that is turning 14 in June and she wants to try softball. She has watched a couple of softball games but has never tired it. Is it too late to start?

It is never too late to start if there is a desire to play. There is no doubt a catch up period, but the basics of the game can be grasped. The key will be the eye-hand coordination when it comes to batting and fielding. Again, the "want" to play will be important to success, which means practicing with the team and outside of the team.

Best of luck to your daughter!
